Doug Parkinson brings the Van Morrison songbook to new life.

Doug’s powerful and soulful voice presents every Van Morrison hit song and magically transports the audience to the memories of our lives and the music of the great Van Morrison.

In an evening filled with Van Morrison’s classic hits, Australia’s undisputed king of soul, Doug Parkinson and his mighty six-piece band celebrate the many songs that made a generation of music lovers fall in love with the Irish superstar.

Van Morrison is widely considered one of the most unusual and influential vocalists and song writers in the history of Rock and Roll.

After the extraordinary success of the Doug Parkinson Honours Joe Cocker tour,
Doug has thrown his heart and soul into this exciting new production and has had audiences raving and asking, “Can we come back tomorrow night?” “We didn’t want the show to end.”

Hit after hit, song after song, the evening transports you to the memory of our life and times.

The many hits the evening celebrates…
Moondance – Gloria – Into the Mystic – Bright Side of the Road – Brown Eyed Girl – Have I Told You Lately – Days Like This – Baby Please Don’t Go. Just to name a few!

The first half of the evening Doug Parkinson brings to life his own hit records, a soul song or two and a soaring ballad, sung beautifully and powerfully by the unforgettable voice of Doug Parkinson.

There isn’t a more qualified singer to present and celebrate the extraordinary music of Van Morrison and to leave the audiences spellbound.
